Meet Timur and Heather. Now working in Turkey with the growing church there, Timur was born and raised in Izmir, Turkey and became a believer through the ministry of Campus Crusade in 1993. Through CC's discipleship and evangelism training and practical experience, Timur understood his gifting in evangelism and that God wanted to use him to share the Gospel in his country. He moved to Istanbul in 1995 and has been serving there since.

Heather, hailing from Philadelphia, committed her life to Christ during high school in 1988 and felt a call overseas during a short-term experience in 1993. After many eye-opening experiences into various people groups, God made it clear her call was to Muslim people. After 3 short-term trips to Turkey, she moved there in 2001.

Timur and Heather have two children, both age 2.
