Why a Conference on Justice?
Park Community Church seeks to be a Biblical community where the Gospel of Jesus Christ transforms lives, renews the city and impacts the world. So, why a conference on justice?
The prophet Micah says, "He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God." It's the gospel that transforms our hearts and engages our hands to privately and publicly live out these just requirements of God.
We are creating a yearly conference series: Let Justice Roll, that will help us understand what Biblical justice is and challenge us to engage purposefully to help bring about the wholeness, the wellness, and the goodness of God. It's time to focus in on why justice matters to God and why it should matter to us.
