I'm New to Park
No matter how you ended up on our site, we're glad you're here and appreciate the opportunity to let us know a little bit more about us.
Park is a non-denominational Christian church that has two locations: one in the Near North neighborhood and the other in Lincoln Park. (We're going to be launching another location somewhere South of the Loop in January 2010.)
We don't believe the church is a building, we believe people make up the church. In fact, we didn't even own a building in the first 20 years of our history! You can read more about our story here.
We get that life in the city can be chaotic, and, we know that even in a huge city it's easy to feel alone. That's why "community" is our middle name. We want to help you find a place where you can connect with others in your stage of life and pursue your spiritual journey with others. The best way we've found to do that is through small groups, you can read more about those here.
We also offer many different ministries, whether you're single, married, have kids or are celebrating an empty nest. Check our the ministries of Park here.
If you're new to Chicago, welcome! We put together a New to Chicago page with some helpful hints as you get settled in.
If you're looking for a church to connect with, we want you to know that there are many great churches in the Chicago area, and we want to help you find the right fit for you and your spiritual journey. Learn more here.
If, after you've had the chance to read more about us and what we believe, and have any questions please let us know by dropping us an email or calling us at 312.361.0500.
When and if you do decide to come to one of our Sunday morning services, be sure to plan to stick around for a few minutes after for Park 101. It's a quick opportunity for you to meet us, ask questions and learn ways to get plugged in. Park 101 meets after each of our services.
Thanks again for stopping by, we hope to see you soon!
