Hailing from the West Coast [specifically, SoCal], Annika Celum lends her easy-going spirit to bring calm to the chaos of the life of Park’s teaching and campus pastors. Annika graduated with a BA in Political Science and a BA in French from University of California, Santa Barbara, and an MA in Intercultural Studies from Moody Theological Seminary. Prior to serving on staff at Park, she was a student to the n-th degree, juggled two jobs and volunteered here at Park. In her spare time she likes to run [she ran 15 miles with a broken leg training for the LA Marathon… that’s dedication], paint with acrylics, read murder mysteries, bake kooky cakes, and go on adventures in any weather. She lives in Edgewater, partly because living close to the water reminds her of “home.” She loves the amazing restaurants here in the city and the craziness of biking during rush hour.
