Not a Sunday service goes by without relying heavily on Bret Knappenberger’s work as Director of Connections. Bret’s duties include, but are certainly not limited to, overseeing Sunday volunteer teams, directing Sunday service operations, organizing Partnership, Spiritual Gifts and Baptism classes and managing retail operations. Raised in Topeka, Kansas, Bret graduated with a degree from Kansas State University. Bret recently married the love of his life, Jacinta in April of 2009 and they reside in Lincoln Park. Despite his Wildcat roots, Bret is an avid Jayhawks basketball fan and enjoys playing softball and tennis, making dinner with Jacinta and playing with their two chocolate labs.
